About Me
Professional Me:
My clients will always be my greatest teachers but for the specifics: I finished undergraduate from University of Cincinnati in 2015 with a double major in psychology and sociology. I completed University of Maryland, Baltimore’s Master of Social Work program in 2017 and spent the next five years working in crisis response.
After transitioning to private practice, I have been able to focus on what I love most - supporting folks who have experienced trauma. I completed my EMDR training in 2022 through Insight Counseling Center and continued training through the Institute for Creative Mindfulness (ICM). I completed ICM’s Advanced Certificate in Dissociative Studies and also began the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation’s (ISSTD) Advanced Certificate program. I am also working toward deep brain reorienting certification. I have advanced licensure in social work in Maryland (LCSW-C), Virginia and Nevada (LCSW), and Vermont (LICSW). I am a member of EMDRIA and ISSTD.

Personal Me:
I love art, hiking, trash tv, my partner, and my puppy Winona! In my spare time I am typically watching the newest 90 Day Fiancé episode, making new vegan dishes, hiking or training with Winona, or taking care of way too many (but somehow still not enough) plants. As bell hooks shared, “Beloved community is formed not by the eradication of difference but by its affirmation by each of us claiming the identities and cultural legacies that shape who we are and how we live in the world.” I am a queer, disabled white person who isn’t afraid to talk about oppression or politics in session. As someone+ with lived experience, it is truly an honor to work with folks who have experienced trauma and those who are systems.
